We are the UK's leading specialists in delivering cross-curricular Dance and R.E. (Christianity) in schools.

Our workshops and interactive performances provide much needed resources for:

- exciting ways for children and staff to engage with R.E. (Christianity)

- children to access education in other ways than at a desk

- physical movement, creativity and self-expression for children

Citizenship and PSHE runs through everything that we do, and our workshops and performances aim to grow children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through dance. We value young people, giving them a voice and helping them to thrive.

How our workshops work

A workshop day involves two of our highly experienced teachers visiting your school to work with your pupils during a school day. We have teachers based across the country so are able to deliver workshops nationwide. We can either work with up to 4 or 5 classes for one-off workshops or we can work more intensively with 1 or 2 classes.

Workshops can be delivered in one-off days or we can stay for a longer residency and create a unique performance with your pupils. For shorter projects the day can finish with an informal sharing to the rest of the school or parents. Themes can be selected from our popular themes below, or the focus and learning objective can be tailor made especially for you.

The fee for a full day of workshops is £450 plus travel expenses.

Creating a dance for a special event, e.g. a Y6 leaver’s service or a concert.
Story-telling or a chosen theme explored through dance.
Dance skills workshops – for example partner work.

The Nativity Project

Want to try something different this Advent? Tired of the same old Nativity Play?

Our professional dancers can do the work for you and create a unique performance to share with parents and carers.

A Christmas Story: Refugee

These workshops will guide pupils on a journey of dance, drama and discussion inspired by Anne Booth’s Christmas story Refuge. Children will uncover a relevant and meaningful telling of the first Christmas through learning, creating and performing movement.

Parable

PARABLE is an immersive dance theatre and integrated workshop experience.

Adventurous, interactive and exciting, children will encounter and overcome creative challenges, accomplish tasks and influence the outcome of the performance, whilst absorbed in a vibrant world of professional movement, dance and theatre.

The Easter Project

A series of dance workshops that helps children engage with the Easter story. The project enables children to explore their own spirituality as the workshops link Jesus' relationship with his disciples to Jesus' presence today. The workshops culminate in a performance of the Easter story by the pupils, which can be shown to school and parents alike.

The Good Samaritan

Workshops that focus on the importance of helping others and standing up for them, even if they are not like you. The workshops touch on themes of living in a multi -racial / multi-religious society.

Creation

Our Creation Project introduces the Genesis narrative of creation in a fun, inclusive and engaging way through dance. Children will have the opportunity to explore some key concepts such as who made the world, what God is like and the relationship between creator and created.

You Are Special

Based on Max Lucado’s book You Are Special, children will follow the story of the Wemmick who struggles to fit in to the Wemmick village. One day his life changes forever as he learns the meaning of the words ‘You are special’! The story tackles the big issue of self-esteem and creates opportunities to discuss ideas about self-worth and how we treat others.

Children beamed with joy as they danced and showed wonderful confidence and focus. Their facial expressions were powerful and alongside the thought provoking music , it truly was captivating to watch this performance . Some of our SEN children thrived during this performance - it really was their time to shine .

The dance teachers are phenomenal- we are in awe of their skill and the speed at which they created such a polished performance. It was pure magic!
