The day will be hosted in collaboration by Springs Dance Company and Révérence, the dance department of One UK (formerly Taboo Arts).
Ella Fleetwood - Springs Dance Company Dancer and Teacher
Ella graduated from Trinity Laban with a First Class degree in 2016. Since graduating, Ella has enjoyed performing with Casson & Friends, Bicycle Ballet and Springs Dance Company. Ella regularly performs at Great Ormond Street Hospital with Kimberley Harvey and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital with Eek & Wild, a company she co-founded. Ella is also Associate Artist at Project Phakama where she is developing a new dance project for refugee groups in London. She creates her own choreographic work through her company, ella&co, connecting people through her socially engaged choreographic practice. Ella teaches in a range of community settings, with inclusivity and play at the heart of her teaching practice. Ella is a lead dance artist for The Place, Sadler’s Wells and Magpie Dance for people with learning disabilities.
Révérence Dance Company (formerly Taboo Arts)
Révérence is the dance department from One UK, a group of artists who are ready to challenge the current systems of art today. We recently moved to our new hub called “The Cave” in Hackney Wick. We aim to speak truth through artistic expression, believing that the best art is created to, for and with the Creator Himself. As a collective we are always pushing for excellence to carry depth, truth and the power of transformation to our audiences and community.
