We are currently looking for a male dancer for a period of R&D for a new project between 8th January - 9th February 2024.

Making Your Mark is a research and development project supported by Arts Council England National Lottery funding. We will be working with Early Years children in libraries and schools in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft in 2024 to co-create our new show.

Springs Dance Company creates dance with heart and soul for theatre, church and community settings. 

We are looking for a male dancer who is:

• A highly skilled contemporary dancer, experienced and playful.
• Confident working creatively and collaboratively with a choreographer and with children.
• Great at connecting with children, particularly children aged 3-6. Ideally you would have experience in teaching and creating dance with Early Years children.
• Friendly, respectful, and positive.
• Willing to be involved in the behind-the-scenes aspects of the R&D such as laying the floor, taking surveys etc.
• Comfortable engaging with the public

The dancer must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to act as an employment sponsor.

8th January - 9th February 2024

The working days will be Tuesdays – Fridays each week, in Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Ipswich. Depending on dancer location, travel will be required on Monday evenings each week.

£545 per week (as per ITC/Equity rates)
